Impala Stone Supports the Glitz and Glamour Charity Ball
We love any opportunity to give back to important causes, which is why our team jumped at the chance to support the most recent Glitz and Glamour charity ball event to raise much-needed funds for the fight against cancer.
Glitz and Glamour charity ball
The Glitz and Glamour organisation holds regular charity balls to raise money for the Derby Breast Test Appeal and the Gynae Cancer Research Trust.
Their hard work is helping to push forward the fight against cancer in Derbyshire and across the UK, and, as a Derbyshire-based kitchen worktop business, we wanted to do everything we could to get stuck in.
Using our skills to fuel cancer research
We decided to put our skills as a provider of stunning worktops for homes and businesses to work for a good cause.
As well as sponsoring a table at the event, our team of expert craftspeople worked hard designing and building a bespoke coffee table using our selection of premium materials valued at almost £1,000 to be donated to the Glitz and Glamour cause.
Members of our friendly office team were proud to attend the event to take part in the fundraising and present the carefully crafted table.
Final figure raised in 2024
Throughout 2024, the amazing team at Glitz and Glamour has raised a whopping £76,736.66 for its chosen charities through their own hard work and the generous donations of companies across Derbyshire like Impala Stone.
We’re so delighted we got to be a part of their efforts and look forward to seeing where their work takes them next.
