BQS Quartz worktops: natural stone style with everyday practicality

BQS Quartz is a range of engineered quartz surfaces created by Brachot, an international specialist in natural stone and blended materials. BQS stands for Brachot Quartz Surfaces.

Designed to recreate the depth, veining and character of natural marble and quartzite, BQS Quartz offers the appearance of natural stone with the practical benefits of an engineered surface. It is suitable for kitchen worktops, islands, splashbacks, utility rooms, bathroom vanity tops and other interior surfaces.

Does BQS Quartz look like natural stone?

BQS Quartz is designed to offer a realistic alternative to marble and quartzite. The collection includes delicate veining, bold patterns and subtle colour variations inspired by natural stone.

Individual slabs may vary slightly in the prominence and definition of the veining. These variations help give the finished worktop a more natural appearance rather than a completely uniform or printed finish.

Selected BQS designs can also be backlit, creating distinctive features for kitchen islands, bar fronts, reception desks and wall panels.

Is BQS Quartz suitable for kitchen worktops?

Yes. BQS Quartz is well suited to kitchen worktops because it combines a hardwearing surface with simple day-to-day maintenance. Its non-porous finish also makes it a hygienic option for areas used to prepare food.

Although BQS Quartz can cope with normal kitchen temperatures, hot pans and cookware should not be placed directly onto the surface. Always use a heat-resistant mat or trivet to protect the worktop from prolonged or extreme heat.
