Are you looking to refurbish your kitchen and you are wondering how a granite worktop is fitted, you’ve come to the right place? In this blog, we at Impala Stone are going to explain how you get fit your granite worktop.

Making a plan

You need to know what type of stone you will want. We will discuss with you your options, the type of finishing you’d like, the edging required and the shape that you want.

Templating

One of the good things about stone worktops is that they`re unbelievably durable and strong; however, on the flip side, it isn’t a quick process to create and tailor them for you. A lot of time and effort is required to create the perfect result. This means that the worktop of your choice will need to be trimmed to the right measurements ahead of installation.

Manufacturing

We cut each worktop individually so whatever you fancy you can choose. For example, if you wanted a rounded end to your breakfast bar, we can do so. After this, we will get it delivered to your house.

Installation

When your worktop has been delivered, our team will install it for you. We will do this by moving the worktop into its exact place to make sure it’s a great fit. If it passes both yours and our quality tests, we will go ahead and install it. You will then be able to enjoy your new worktop and be satisfied with the service you have been provided.
