It can be pretty difficult to know what option is best for your home when choosing a worktop material; there are so many materials to choose from and it can be an overwhelming experience making sure you make the right choice.

It’s important to think about all the factors as the most popular materials used for kitchen worktops all have different advantages to them, some things to consider are:

Consider functionality, for example if you enjoy creating culinary masterpieces in the kitchen then a heat-resistant surface around the hob could be ideal allowing you to move your pans straight from the hob to the work surface.

Think about practicality; consider the worktops durability and ability to be maintained. For example if you have any young children or pets then a material that is damaged or marked easily is probably not ideal.

What’s your budget, most people would love a durable, solid piece of granite for their worktop (which we can provide) but this isn’t always possible on a smaller budget and there are other very hardwearing and just as beautiful materials out there.

It can be difficult to choose a material and at Impala Stone we have plenty on offer with over a 1,000 colours and finishes for complimenting any kitchen; so if you would like any advice on what material would be best for you or any other information about our service please.
